Crosswicks Creek Watershed Management Area #20 Planning Project

Doctors CreekAs a subcontractor for the Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission (DVRPC), the PlanSmart NJ worked with the Monmouth County towns within Area #20 to aid DVRPC in developing an area plan that will protect and enhance water resources.

PlanSmart NJ conducted numerous outreach activities for this project. We also used the GOZ® model to help evaluate the build-out impacts on water resources under alternative zoning scenarios. We conducted two studies with GOZ® - one for Upper Freehold, and one for Doctor's Creek. Both analyses found that alternative scenarios with center-based development resulted in less impacts to water resources.
