Redesigning the Suburbs: Turning Sprawl into Centers
PlanSmart NJ
worked in collaboration with the Regional Plan Association on this project,
which resulted in a handbook for converting existing suburban sprawl into
centers. The book evolved from workshops with planning officials, developers,
bankers, and architects on the challenges and opportunities for building
in centers. The handbook was also reprinted by the Federal Transit Administration.
