Passaic County Transportation and Smart Growth Evaluation Model
PlanSmart NJ is part of a team working for Passaic County on a Transportation and Smart Growth Evaluation Model. For this project, we are using the GOZ® model to calculate existing zoning build-out and associated transportation impacts. The vehicle trip impacts of GOZ® will help the County calibrate its regional transportation model. URS will then use the calibrated County model to evaluate travel conditions under build-out. PlanSmart NJ will also use GOZ® to evaluate the impact of an alternative build-out scenario that assumes no development will occur in areas within the Highlands Preservation Zone.
