BRT Alternatives Analysis

PlanSmart NJ is a member of the steering committee for a Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) Alternatives Analysis along the US 1 corridor. The study area covers Plainsboro, West Windsor, Princeton Borough, Princeton Township, and Lawrence. This project derives from the work of the Central Jersey Transportation Forum, which identified the feasibility of a BRT system in this area and a subsequent study by the Greater Mercer TMA that conducted a preliminary evaluation of potential route alignments. We anticipate that PlanSmart NJ will be providing land use information to assist the BRT Alternatives Analysis.
