September 14, 2017
Bell Works
Holmdel, New Jersey
There has been little to no focus on statewide land use planning since 2010. With the governor and all 120 seats in the New Jersey Legislature up for grabs, we have an opportunity to articulate a land use planning and economic development agenda for all of the candidates to consider. The 6th Annual New Jersey Planning Summit will offer us that opportunity.
In an interactive “Town Hall” format, PlanSmart NJ has invited each of the gubernatorial candidates to participate in this important event. Following the presentations we will open the floor and engage as a community to discuss what we’ve heard and to collectively offer our ideas and recommendations. Our discussion will be compiled and presented to each of the candidates as a planning and economic blueprint for the future. We look forward to having you join us on Thursday, September 14 to be a part of this conversation.
