PlanSmart NJ conducts education and outreach to inform a broad audience about the benefits of sound land use planning. We host an annual conference in the Spring and an Annual Dinner in the Fall to engage various constituencies and provide cutting edge ideas, information and implementation strategies to planners, government leaders, private sector leaders, the non-profit community, and the general public. We host regional forums around the State to engage local leaders in thinking strategically about the future of their region. We foster partnerships and dialogue between non-traditional partners to achieve better land use outcomes. We also produce a regular blog to educate and inform our members and supporters about timely land use issues
